This interface now has been released in Japanese. All the menu items and help descriptions have been added in Japanese. To switch languages, click the link at the bottom of the screen to see the same page in a different language.
The Japanese verison can be accessed from: http://jp.sporra.net
Over time, if there is the demand, bilingual challenge names will also be added.
We’ve updated the way we calculate points for routes.
Previously, routes were an all-or-nothing calculation. Points where only receieved if the route was 100% ridden. Under the new system, the first 75% of the points are given proportionally to the distance ridden and the last 25% are given upon completion of the route.
The update has been released and users’ points have been reflected accordingly. As a result of this change no users’ points will decrease and should only increase (as previously no credit was received for partial completions)
The map feature has been released. Click here to see the map feature!
Way points challenges are shown on the map in addition to routes shown as lines on the map.
This should make it easier to find challenges near you! Be sure to allow the browser to see your location so that the map automatically zooms to your area!
I’m pretty happy with the state of development so I’ve made the production version of Sporra live. I’ll be working on adding challenges as quickly as I can moving forward but in the meantime just try out the system and let me know what you think!
Preparations are underway to create a playground version for you to play around with!
Try completing goals on the pre-release environment! All users will have access to all features in the pre-release environment. (Just note that data in the pre-release enviornment will not avalable on the final environment and data is subject to erasure at anytime due to ongoing testing and developmenty)
Welcome to the Sporra blog. This is where the development will be documented formally and tips to help you get the most out of Sporra
