Route Point Calculation Change

Posted on October 10th, 2017

We’ve updated the way we calculate points for routes.

Previously, routes were an all-or-nothing calculation. Points where only receieved if the route was 100% ridden. Under the new system, the first 75% of the points are given proportionally to the distance ridden and the last 25% are given upon completion of the route.

The update has been released and users’ points have been reflected accordingly. As a result of this change no users’ points will decrease and should only increase (as previously no credit was received for partial completions)

New Map Feature

Posted on July 30th, 2017

The map feature has been released. Click here to see the map feature!

Way points challenges are shown on the map in addition to routes shown as lines on the map.

This should make it easier to find challenges near you! Be sure to allow the browser to see your location so that the map automatically zooms to your area!

Sporra is Live!

Posted on March 28th, 2017

I’m pretty happy with the state of development so I’ve made the production version of Sporra live. I’ll be working on adding challenges as quickly as I can moving forward but in the meantime just try out the system and let me know what you think!
